NY Library president Paul LeClerc warned that budget cuts could shut down library branches and layoff 700 library workers.

The Buffalo Bills have suspended pension payments to all of their employees due to the ongoing NFL lockout.

Employees of Yes Car Service Enterprise are calling for an investigation of the Dept. of Labor after being forced to give false testimony that they were independent contractors. Employees have been organizing for better work conditions since 2009.

The unemployment rate in the Syracuse area recently dropped to 7.3 percent, down from 8.3 percent in March.

Chrysler paid back $7.6 billion of its “rescue loan” yesterday.

The NBA players’ union filed charges with the National Labor Relations Board, stating that the NBA was “failing to negotiate in good faith.”
