Tolleson, Arizona – UFCW members working in Fry's and Smith's food stores in Arizona, a division of Kroger, have ratified a new labor agreement.

"Fry's is pleased to reach an agreement that is good for our associates. The agreement offers our associates a competitive compensation package," said Steve McKinney, Fry's president.  "This agreement comes after thoughtful and productive negotiations by company and union representatives."

The contracts cover over 14,500 associates, UFCW Local 99 members, working in 120 stores throughout Arizona. Kroger, one of the world's largest retailers, employs more than 375,000 associates in 2,638 supermarkets and multi-department stores in 34 states.
