The last few years we’ve gone through massive layoffs and high rates of unemployment. We’ve seen wages and benefits being cut from what used to be middle class jobs. Unions are continually being attacked and scapegoated as employers try to take away union pensions, lessen health care, weaken contracts, and will go to any length to do so as seen with the recent lock out of the 8,500 Con Edison workers. That’s why we need to rise up together, as one.
Fight for better jobs, better wages and the rights of all workers!
Tomorrow, July 24, will be the launch of a workers movement in NYC and beyond, we want you to join the movement that has the NY Times talking.
Join folks from around the state at the Day of Action in NYC.
