The Wall Street Journal has reported on why efforts by unions to organize Amazon workers has stalled. The Journal interviewed Amazon workers and analysts, and came away with some key findings. Heavy employee turnover affected votes in Bessemer, Alabama. Also Amazon has increased its hourly wage to more than $19, as well as upping benefits packages. Additionally, Amazon subjects its employees to mandatory anti-union messaging meetings.
