Over four and a half months into their strike, Hollywood writers, represented by the Writers Guild of America (WGA), have reached a tentative deal with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP). The AMPTP represents all the major Hollywood studios. The agreement was announced Sunday, September 24, after long days of bargaining in L.A. The WGA’s approximately 11,000 members must still ratify the agreement. Details of the deal have not yet been made public.
