On November 21, hundreds of striking hotel workers and their supporters held a march to the high-end Palace Hotel, where they demonstrated for better wages as well as working conditions. Two months previously, strikes began at a number of hotels, with such brands as Hyatt, Hilton, Marriott, as well as labor actions. UNITE Here, Local 2, let it be known that further strikes could be coming at more hotels due to unsatisfactory contract talks. 10,000 hotel workers went on strike in 11 cities over Labor Day weekend.
