TSA Officers, after years of an ongoing fight for higher pay, have finally achieved their goal. Represented by the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), the workers saw their paychecks rise by up to 31% starting in July. They had been some of the lowest-paid federal workers in the nation. The change took over 15 years of a relentless fight by their union.
