I am proud and honored to serve as a member of this Local for 26 years! Throughout my tenure, I have been a Bus Driver, Assistant Shop Steward, Shop Steward, Field Representative, Executive Board member, Vice President, Recording Secretary, and now President/Business Agent of this outstanding brotherhood!
It is my belief that under former President Cordiello’s experienced leadership, I have learned the skills to become an influential member of his team. Under the former administration, we have made major headway with lawmakers in Albany, the NYC Council, the Office of Pupil Transportation (OPT), and our partnership with Parents to Improve School Transportation (PIST).
While I continue to work tirelessly to negotiate and secure strong contracts, fight to restore EPP (Employee Protection Provision), persist with ensuring the members’ voices are heard, as well as attending community forums and conferences to ensure the members’ safety as our number one priority; my Executive Board, team and members work together with creativity, diversity, dedication and we have proven that we are resilient!
