It’s well known that acting can be a “rocky” profession, but now, as SAG-AFTRA members struggle through the financial hardships that come with a strike, they have received help from an aptly named fellow thespian. Dwayne Johnson, otherwise known as The Rock, has donated a “seven-figure” sum to the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, as reported by Variety. Although the exact sum was not specified, it is reportedly the largest ever donation to the Foundation by a single individual at one time. The money will go towards offsetting the expenses of striking SAG-AFTRA members.
