Three months ago we started this campaign standing on the steps of Borough Hall, Nydia on my right, Joan on my left, and a small cadre of volunteers on the steps around us. We promised that the number of people behind us would grow. And grow it did, as we took our campaign from one end of this district to the other and back again. We talked about the work I’ve done and the victories we achieved in this community over the past 30 years.
On Tuesday, Democrats said that record earned their trust by choosing me as their Democratic candidate for Assembly in the November election.
Over the coming weeks we will continue to criss-cross the district meeting with voters. And in November I look forward to being elected as your next Assemblywoman.
