Construction workers at a Texas Tesla “gigafactory” have filed a complaint and case referral with the Federal Department of Labor. Serious labor and employment violations came to light after whistleblowers at the plant said the electric car manufacturer’s violations left them vulnerable to injuries and wage theft. One worker says required training about health, safety, and workers’ rights never happened, with the employees receiving false credentials for the training involved instead.
