The UAW and Ford have reached a tentative agreement that, if ratified by the workers, could end the six-week strike. This deal would not affect the UAW strike that is continuing against GM and Stellanis. There are huge wins for the UAW with Ford, including a 25% hike in base wages through April, 2028. Cost-of-living adjustments will raise the top hourly wage by over 30% to over $40 by the end of the contract. Starting wages will increase, and wage tiers have been eliminated.
