The latest battle cry from the Teamsters against their new nemesis Amazon involves what they say is an exploitative Delivery Service Partner (DSP) program. A bipartisan coalition of Senators is demanding that the massive corporation cooperate with a congressional enquiry requesting information on the problem. Apparently, in its correspondence with the lawmakers, Amazon CEO Andy Jassy was dishonest about the treatment of the DSPs. Teamsters General President Sean O’Brien said that the Teamsters “continue to support Senate efforts that hold this corporation accountable for its dishonesty and mistreatment of its workers.”
