After a seven-week strike, Starbucks workers at the Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Manhattan returned to work. They had secured an agreement that requires Starbucks to regularly scrub equipment at outposts nationwide. Moldy ice machines as well as the scourge of bedbugs were reported by workers. These issues have now been addressed by management, and a first bargaining session with the employees, who are part of Starbucks Workers United, has been agreed to.
