Now is the time to vote for your future. The union has reached a tentative agreement on our contracts covering motion pictures, scripted primetime dramatic television and new media production, and now it is time to vote.
You should have received a voting informational card in the mail with instructions on how to vote online or request a paper ballot if you prefer. If you haven’t already done so, please take a moment to review the information and vote now — it’s easy and can be done quickly online.
The tentative agreement with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers was the result of a lengthy, member-driven process, shaped by the feedback we received at wages and working conditions meetings and via email from members like you.
We are pleased with the results, and your SAG-AFTRA National Board agrees, overwhelmingly recommending that members vote to approve it. We have realized some significant gains, unifying the legacy SAG and AFTRA contracts into a single agreement and ensuring wage increases of 8.5 percent, compounding to 8.7 percent over the three-year term, in addition to increased contributions to the pension, health and retirement plans.
But none of these gains go into effect if members don’t ratify the agreement.
