Albany, NY — The New York State Public Employees Federation (PEF) endorsed Eric Adams for Brooklyn borough president. Adams has been a New York State Senator in the 20th NYS Senate District since 2007. PEF President Susan Kent said, "I am pleased to announce the PEF Executive Board voted to endorse Sen. Adams in his bid for this very important position in Brooklyn and Kings County.
Sen. Adams has worked with PEF on many important issues, and he has played a pivotal role in helping us build support for continuing the high quality state medical, research and educational services of Downstate University Hospital in Brooklyn."
PEF represents approximately 55,000 professional, scientific and technical employees of New York State and other public and private employers. PEF is New York's second largest state-employee union.
