While under the Biden administration many unions enjoyed big new contracts as well as organizing victories, now that Trump is in office for a second time, the outlook for them is far from rosy, reports Bloomberg News. The NLRB made major strides for unions and towards more equality under Biden. In contrast, in his first term Trump filled top roles with management advocates. Now, says Nelson Lichtenstein, a labor historian at the University of Calif., said that Trump will now give “a warrant for employers to do whatever they want.”
