New York City will be providing health care for every New Yorker regardless of economic or immigration 
yorstatus.
Announcing his health coverage program for all, the mayor said it was of paramount importance that the half-a-million New Yorkers without health coverage should be provided with health care when needed.
The Mayors plan includes pediatrics, geriatrics, mental health care, obstetrician-gynecologists as well as primary and specialty care. This proposal also covers undocumented and the unemployed.
