The 2023 Gallup Honest and Ethics Poll has shown that once again U.S. adults believe that nurses deserve to rank first in the list of the most trusted professionals. They have been deemed the most honest and ethical workers for the 22nd consecutive year. 78% of the respondents, an overwhelming number, agreed. National Nurses United (NNU) celebrated the distinction. President Jean Ross, RN, said patients know nurses are their advocates, stand up for public health and safety, as well as put themselves on the line by fighting corporate greed that cuts into patient care conditions.
