The new head of the Police Benevolent Association (PBA) has hit the ground running – and aiming straight for those he has identified as cop haters. Police Officer Patrick Hendry, who has been on the force since 1994, took over the top spot from former president Pat Lynch, who retired in June. Democratic City Councilman Charles Barron was targeted as a danger to the city since he “wants to defund the police.” Barron also raised Hendry’s ire by helping to block a bill that would have upped pensions for longtime members of the force.
