Something that once seemed impossible – taking on behemoth Amazon, a company that is notorious for its union-busting practices – has continued to spread and grow in multiple states. In San Bernadino, Calif., Amazon workers, who number over 1,300 at an air facility, KSBD, have now launched a serious drive to join the Teamsters.  KSBD is Amazon’s largest air facility on the West Coast. One of the workers, Anna Orgeta, said, “Amazon may have the money, but we have the people and the power.” Cynthia Ayala, a ramp worker, added, “As air hub workers we make sure that packages get delivered to the entire country, but we get nothing in return but neglect and disrespect. Enough is enough – it’s time to come together as one.”
