The Teamsters have called out employer surveillance practices used against workers. Amazon in particular was called “predatory”. Surveillance also targeted unsuspecting consumers, they said. Tools included navigation software, item scanners, security cameras, recorded footage, and more. The Teamsters told the FTC it must end these practices swiftly.
