Terry O’Sullivan, General President of LIUNA sent this letter to President Obama regarding issues of concern with the Protection and Affordable Care Act. Mr. O’Sullivan and LIUNA are concerned that the law would have an adverse impact on the multiemployer plans on which their members, retirees and families rely for health coverage.
This letter by the president of LIUNA was sent July 18h and follows similar letters by the union presidents of the IBEW, IBT, UFCW, UNITE-HERE and the Roofers
International Union.
