MADISON WI – Our guy, Ironworker Randy Bryce has won the Democratic primary in Wisconsin’s 1st congressional district, Paul Ryan’s seat. Randy’s team is now preparing to defeat his Republican opponent Bryan Steil in the general election.
Bryce became famous in 2017 with his creative digital ads that highlighted his working-class background and union ties.
His nickname is Iron Stache, referring to his moustache and his vocation as an ironworker.
His ads positioned him as a left-wing alternative to Ryan before the incumbent retired. Bryce’s colorful personality and labor support drove him to become a national celebrity. He was a big hit on radio and television appearances.
Bryce faces a tough race against Ryan’s hand picked candidate supported by the National Republical Party and President Trump. Unions from across the country will be supporting Bryce in this critical race to send an ironworker to Congress. This is certainly is the battle to watch.
