At a Brooklyn station at around 12:30 a.m., Transit Operator Tanya McCray was exiting a crew room. Investment banker Jean Francois Coste, seemingly intoxicated, tried to gain entry to the room, and when McCray told him it wasn’t public, he responded by punching her in the face at least twice. He was ultimately detained, but, outrageously, the judge did not require bail to be posted. TWU Local 100 President Richard Davis vowed to see him in court.
