The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers recently made their opinion on so-called “right-to-work” laws abundantly clear, and in the process praised the state of Michigan, for being the first state in nearly 60 years to revoke the law. Thanking state legislators, they singled out Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, who they said was “a friend of working families.” They also gave a shout out of gratitude to their members for their hard working in bringing the legislation to pass. “Let this be a message to all the states still putting up road blocks to fair wages and fair representation for working people,” union officials added, “We’re watching and we’re not stopping with Michigan.”
