For the first time in its history, Apple, the behemoth tech corporation, has caved to a union’s demands. The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers’ (IAM) Coalition of Organized Retail Employees (IAM CORE) has reached a tentative agreement with Apple, which, if the upcoming vote on Aug. 6 is successful, will bring significant changes in their favor. The workers are at the Towson Md. Apple retail store. Some of the tentative contract details over the three-year agreement include scheduling improvements, pay increases, job security, transparency, and maintenance of current benefits.
