Although union membership is steadily declining, the percentage of Americans who have a positive view of unions is the highest since 1965, at 71%. That level of approval is highest among millennials but even more so among Gen. Zers. They have been on the front of strikes and organizing drives. Examples are campaigns waged at Starbucks, Amazon, and major universities.
