Albany, NY – CSEA municipal workers in Erie County have approved a contract with Erie County.

"This agreement represents an equitable compromise between the county and the union, and we hope that the County Legislature will consider holding a special session in order to provide their approval to the agreement as soon as possible," Denise Szymura, CSEA Erie County Local and Unit President said.

According to CSEA, the new contract covers 2008 through 2016, and will include wage increases for 2014, 2015 and 2016.  The agreement provides cost adjustments for health insurance coverage. The new contract was approved 985 to 655 by Erie County CSEA members.
