New York, NY – Council of School Supervisors & Administrators (CSA) has endorsed Letitia “Tish” James for Public Advocate. In endorsing James, CSA praised her for her advocacy on behalf of children and families, particularly in the area of education.
“CSA is proud to endorse Council Member Tish James’ New York City Public Advocate who understands the educational challenges New Yorkers face and will continue to be a strong voice for children and families across New York,” said CSA President Ernest Logan. “As a City Councilwoman, Tish has been a powerful supporter of improving the educational system: prioritizing quality education and preparedness over teaching to test, preserving funding for after-school programs, and opposing co-locations and school closures that harm communities and neighborhoods. She will be a great Public Advocate for New York from every corner of the City.”
