“Bad Cinderella” is the latest musical by the award-winning playwright Andrew Lloyd Weber with lyrics by David Zippel; and directed by Laurence Connor. The show is a retelling of the children’s favorite Cinderella.
The show lives up to its title, “bad”. The performers do work hard with questionable material and the music is somewhat entertaining.
The is a muddle where the actors seem to sallow their words. For the price of a Broadway show we are better off seeing Cinderella on the Disney channel.
