The second Apple store in the nation has caved to employees’ demands, who have ratified a contract with the mega-tech company, which rakes in billions of dollars each year. Workers at an Oklahoma-based Apple store have voted to ratify their first collectively bargained agreement. They are represented by CWA Local 6016. But it didn’t come without a fight. Members had authorized a strike due to delayed negotiations, and employees protested in early September. Now, they have won better pay, work-life balance, and working conditions, among other concessions.
