The American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) has created a Union Wage Calculator. Coming on the heels of the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ release of its annual report on union membership and earnings, the powerful tool will help workers evaluate what they would earn if they were in a union. It also will tell them how their union membership, if they have one, boosts their earnings. The calculator will be part of a large digital campaign and featured on sites like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and many more.
