The AFL-CIO Executive Council released a statement on July 10, 2024, regarding their support for President Biden and Kamala Harris’ upcoming campaign. The Council has voiced its opinion in their favor, calling their leadership, “the most pro-union administration in our lifetimes.” The statement offers many examples in support of this opinion, saying he has stood on the picket line, has a “deep commitment to workers and our families” and stood up against corporate greed. They also say his commitment led to an “industrial renaissance”, specifically in the construction industry, among many others.
