In April of 2022, the Amazon Labor Union (ALU) won a historic victory at its JFK8 warehouse in Staten Island, NY. It was the first time in Amazon’s history that one of its warehouses had voted to unionize. Since then, lengthy legal battles between the two parties have raged. Now, in a ruling released on Jan. 11, 2023, the National Labor Relations Board has certified the ALU’s victory.
