After a strike that began on November 16, the nearly month-long work stoppage by teachers is finally over. Contract negotiations had stalled. The faculty’s union, ACT-United Auto Workers, in a joint statement with the New School, said pay raises and boosts to health care have been won by workers. “Now, together, we can return to our mission of teaching, learning, creating, and supporting our students,” the statement said.
