The machinists union, North America’s largest air transport union, has reached a new tentative agreement with Southwest Airlines. The agreement would give its members between a 16% and a 25% general wage increase over four years. The IAM represents approximately 8,300 Customer Service Employees. The agreement would also include higher bonuses with no maximum and stronger mandatory overtime protections, among other benefits.
