Stagehands at Little Island, a New York City park built on the Hudson River, have voted “Yes” to unionize with IATSE Local One, the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees. Local One Organizer John Lott said, “The Crew at Little Island stood together because they understand the benefits of Union representation.” “This is a great day for the Crew of Little Island, Local One and the Labor Movement in America,” said IATSE Local One President Mike Wekselblatt.
