Now that the plans are in place to return to work, there are concerns regarding sanitation in the workplace. The question is, however, in the case of infection, what actions can be taken to reduce, if not prevent the spread of Covid-19. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention offers helpful hints on their website:

The link provides suggestions and tips on keeping workstations clean and how to reduce the risk of future infection. Another alternative considered is misting disinfection or “Fogging,” machines.
Disinfectant fogging machines eliminate viruses, bacteria, fungi, mold and mildew through the use of vaporized hydrogen peroxide. However, proper cleaning is still recommended. Although office buildings have been advised to have their properties suitable for occupancy, the spread rate of this virus is still a valid threat.
Commercial property owners have been enlisting the help of in-house and professional cleaning services to ready their office spaces to prevent any further spikes of infection. Additionally, the New York State Department of Health has issued guidance for commercial building management to ready their buildings for operation. There are now more than 117,000 Covid-related deaths countrywide with more than 30,000 of those deaths in New York. Ever reminding us all to stay safe, keep healthy, and stay home if symptoms arise.
