New York public servants are members of one of the eight public employee pension systems in the State and City. Approximately 700,000 active employees are contributing to their future pensions.
Although it appears the MTA is run and maintained by union workers, somehow non-union trades have begun to slip through the door to do construction work in Metro-North’s office spaces.
