In Oregon the Northwest Accountability Project has filed an IRS complaint against The Freedom Foundation seeking to revoke its tax-exempt status.

The project says Freedom Foundation is an anti-union right-wing attack group that's bragging about allegedly reducing membership in SEIU and cutting the union's revenue by over a million dollars. The group sued SEIU 503, challenging its right to exclusively represent home care workers. Kevin Rudiger is Director of the Northwest Accountability Project. [Kevin Rudiger]: "We feel that the Freedom Foundation is blatantly pursuing a partisan political agenda in violation of IRS law around their 501-(c)3 status.

They're essentially asking taxpayers to subsidize their partisan agenda. People in Oregon and Washington are definitely understanding, increasingly, what the Freedom Foundation is up to and are mobilizing to stop them. Once they understand that this is an arm of the right wing attack on workers and communities they treat it very skeptically." To hear the audio click the following link
