Shannon (Boyle) Mogila unexpectedly passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at her home in Westfield, NJ.
Born in Fort Knox, KY on September 26, 1974, she grew up in Rahway, NJ with her wonderful parents, Richard and Mary Boyle, sister, Allison, and brother, Richard. She attended catholic schools graduating from Bishop Ahr High School and Seton Hall University.
Shannon met her husband, Stephen Mogila, Esq., in 2000, and they married in 2003. Since then, they were happily married, raising two remarkable and beautiful children, Piper and Quinten, in Westfield.
Shannon was a loving, caring, kind, strong mother, wife, and friend, finding the best in everyone she met. She had the brightest smile and lightened up the world and lives around her.
Shannon was active in the community and the schools that her children attended – delivering brown bag lunches on behalf of Franklin Elementary School for the St. Joseph Shelter and has served as Co-Chair for Franklin School’s Community Service Night among other good deeds.
For those lucky enough to have known Shannon, all are better for it. Stephen, Piper, and Quinn (and the rest of Shannon’s family and friends) will cherish the time spent with her, safeguard the warmest memories of her in our hearts always, and love her forever.
Visitation will be at Dooley Colonial Home, 556 Westfield Ave., Westfield, on Sunday, September 13th from 1 PM to 5 PM. Her funeral Mass will be Monday at Holy Trinity RC Church in Westfield at 11 AM Cremation will be private.
