The midtown restaurant, Le Colonial, is facing discrimination charges from thirteen former employees who state that their lunch and bathroom breaks were restricted and they were forced to work in harsh conditions because of their race.

On his weekly radio show, Mayor Michael Bloomberg warned that more widespread
rioting might occur if more jobs aren’t created.

Late Friday, the United Automobile Workers and General Motors announced that they had come to an agreement on a tentative contract.

Ads displayed on the tops of New York cabs must now be approved by the cab owner, according to the Taxi and Limousine Commission.

Over the weekend, dozens of protestors “occupied” Wall Street to demand that Wall Street’s profits be sent back to small towns.
