Yesterday, Gov. Andrew Cuomo proposed cutting new city and state employee pensions as a method of trimming the state budget.

Workers at the Valley Stream, NY-based Target are set to vote for union representation next Friday.

Yesterday, activists in Times Square protested Hershey’s and called on the company to end its use of child labor in West Africa.

Over 1,000 will be out of work after two South Jersey-based companies announced layoffs yesterday.

Wall Street is bracing for pay cuts and lay offs in the next few weeks.
