The City Council approved the $66 billion budget for 2012 and warns of cuts to services.

Global investment and banking firm, Goldman Sachs, may be laying off up to 230 employees in the near future.

Nassau County lawmakers have voted to eliminate 128 jobs from the county payroll.

A bill that would have helped farm workers unionize more easily was vetoed by Gov. Jerry Brown.

Former Stella D’oro factory workers will come together tomorrow to preview a documentary about the fall of the company called, “No Contract, No Cookies: The Stella D’oro Strike.”
