The AFL-CIO is proposing a plan to help the government fund infrastructure projects through union pensions at the Clinton Global Initiative on Friday.

Because unemployment numbers dropped, thousands of New York citizens will lose their unemployment benefits.

In Hudson Valley, NY, a new study revealed that 1 in 11 county-residents is receiving food stamps benefits.

The American Federation of Teachers is suing the state to contest whether or not it’s legal to use standardized test scores to rate teachers.

Village Voice employees may go on strike this Thursday when their three-year contract is up.
