Nassau County in Long Island will cut 130 municipal workers beginning July 1st due to budget deficits.  

Union workers at Macy’s flagship store and three other locations have voted to strike if a contract is not reached by Wednesday night.

Yesterday, President Barack Obama revealed his plan to jump start job growth by training 10,000 engineers a year.

An editorial in the New York Daily News speculates on the City Council’s role in Friday’s union vote for Target employees.

The National Labor Relations Board is taking Boeing to court today to argue that the company broke the law by opening a nonunion factory in South Carolina instead of expanding an already unionized production line.
