The Metropolitan Opera has reached an agreement with the union that represents its actors, musicians, and singers.

Workers in Danville, VA, at Ikea’s only US-based factory, voted yesterday to start a union.

Union workers at the Atlantic City casino, Resorts, have scheduled a protest against upcoming layoffs.

With changes to the Hotel Chelsea up and coming, the Gothamist stats that union employees are at risk of being laid off.

Changes from the Department of Education lead to a 58% tenure rate for teachers this year.
