The Transit Workers Union says that it is not ruling out the possibility of a strike as bus and subway workers enter contract negotiations with the city.

Verizon workers ended their strike without yet having reached a contract agreement.

A new police union was approved on Friday in New York, the Police Benevolent Association.

Starbucks is paying $75,000 to a former employee who sued the company for discrimination after she was let go.
