The Federal Aviation Administration shutdown may end today pending legislation in the Senate.

Though a pact was reached with the concrete workers at the World Trade Center construction site, the carpenters union has now voted to strike.

Unemployment claims are down slightly from last week.

Jezebel, an online magazine, reports on the gender gap in recovery from the recession.

A federal judge dropped the charges against two mean for allegedly bringing 44 laborers from Thailand and forcing them to work.
